And; the hunt you get;
Good stuff! I smiled
Funny stuff, although I wouldn't pay for either!
Reading the title, I thought this was going to be the second chapter to the Don Dean thread.
If I was paying for the top hunt, I'd still be upset
Just curious - why?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing... If blinds are well hid, and guide tries different strategies and birds don't/won't commit, that's hunting. Looks to me like a pretty good day for snows.
I don't pay to hunt. I have my own spread. I put my own time in to have landowner contacts. Personal preference, but have never paid to hunt. But, if I were to pay to hunt, I'd expect more than 25 snow geese considering there would probably be 8 other guys hunting with you and there better be 1k plus decoys.
Thanks for the clarification. See, I see just two guys with a decent amount of geese, (can't really assume anything on the size of the spread from just that pictured - could be 1K or just 100) and guys have a nice vehicle in the field to help get the equipment and me in and out.
Whether I pay or do it myself, I am fully understand as goodie said - somedays you can put all the work into it and have a "epic" day or just as easy an "epic" bust - its hunting and why I would never want to be a guide!
If I'm going to get skunked, I'd just assume it was my own doing. It's hunting, it happens, I'm fully aware. However, I work hard to earn my money and I'm not going to give it away to someone for something I could do myself. That's all I'm saying. Carry on
