Well soccer finally ended for my oldest daughter so I will be able to get both girls out for the first time this season. So how were the grasslands last week? I hunted Los Banos the 23rd and managed a few teal but it seemed slow. I hunted my buddy's rice blind that is two miles east of sutter this past weekend and only managed 3 teal and spoonie in two days of hunting, almost no birds flying in his pond. The specks were thick and in every field but his! I am leaning more towards some grasslands lotto action. Any thoughts?

I heard on slow days in the grasslands you can shoot a limit of birds... Teal. That's where I would go.

How about out of state? You haven’t burned anything in Oregon yet this season.

Mallards and wigeon all over the place at Phoenix Zoo. Might have to walk a ways from where you park but they are there.
