Fun day with the kid... Off to college in August.
Bad part is they come home again! Like your Golden, it's staying home hopefully .
I thought it was your daughter in the picture, tell your son to cut his hair. I guess that makes me an old fart LOL.
Good for you guys. Good looking kid. Where’s he going to school?
Heading off to McPerson KS on a baseball/academic scholarship. A big part of his decision included hunting access. LOL.
Growing up my dad gave us some freedom regarding our hair until we lost that freedom by screwing up. I always had short hair. Trevor hasn’t lost that freedom yet.
Good for him. Hopefully he finds some great hunting spots and invites you out there!
Good seeing you the other day out at the duck club, Tim. Do you remember these?
Your first snow goose. Shot at the Lame Duck club, 9-14-2013
Congrats on the scholarship, and the total achievement on going to college. Kansas, very hunter friendly. Top notch shooter in Kansas, Derrick Mein. Be worth the time for a few sessions with him. Hair?? LOL. In high school, mine was longer.
Thanks! That was a fun mid November hunt and I believe my first hunt on a club. Thanks for helping create that memory. It's one I think about often. The date stamp is off, I am pretty sure it was 2008ish and mid November.
Wow Tim...I'm way off on the correct date. I went back and checked the EXIF camera data on the actual photo, and it shows that the shot was taken at 1:30 PM, on Wednesday 12-20-2006. Who knows, that may be wrong too, but it is the date that I have. Anyway, whenever it was taken, I remember having a very enjoyable hunt with you.
Congrats to you and your son, enjoy the time you have! My son just graduated from college in Indiana this past May (baseball and athletic too), he's been home all through the season. Soon, off to his first engineering job out of college, moving to Santa Maria. Always enjoyed his trips home for Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks, we hunted almost every day he was home during college. Really enjoyed his company hunting this full season, but now it's time to leave the nest!
