Every year, Bloomsburg Pa holds a week long fair.....probably 180-200k attend.

Just read the local newspaper headline that the fair board approved the sale of Confederate flags......

They are not Confederate flags but another flag representing the will to resist government tyranny. Because what caused the "Civil war" was government sanctioned economic tyranny on the South by protectionist tariffs for Northern industrialists.

So you're saying they are similar to the "Don't Tread on Me Flags", not Confederate flags?

The original "Confederate flag" known as the "Stars and Bars" is very similar to the Union flag. The "Stainless banner" of the red field and diagonally crossed bars with stars is not the only Confederate flag. Actually there were three official national flags. The Confederate flag is also the flag of an independent nation. It represents the same resistance to tyranny the Union Old Glory does.

Yeah, but they lost, so no one cares. Their intent is mostly lost in history now. Textbooks teach us that the flag means approval of slavery and racism. Always remember, the victor writes the history.

The victor also gets to write the excuses for going to war.

Was Custer's Little Big Horn a great massacre or a great victory? Depends on who you ask I guess.

How did Usama bin Laden and his followers review the 9/11/2001 events?

To your point there was a news blurb during the 9/11 Remembrance of some country celebrating the day as we respectfully embraced the day. I didn't watch it so I couldn't say which it was.

His son is apparently stepping into his father's shoes and is reported to being able to consolidate some of the divided factions.
