Stick with Echo,I am partial to single reed seems to be more real sounding.

I run a Lares timber in the flooded rice out here in CA and range wise it will reach out and call ducks but then it can get super low end and sound as ducky as any call.

Picked up a cheap Echo Diamondwood Timber Double Reed Poly Insert for $30 used. We'll see how I like a double reed.

I received one for my birthday from a friend and have been using it w/quite a success. It's the only dbl reed I use when I don't use my single reed RNT's.

Good to hear. I'll let everyone know how it sounds when I receive it.
