Time to get out the decoys.

    Ok who is headed out this weekend to do some scouting.
    Post up pic of your decoys and that string tangle that always seem to be there.

    I do like my Texas rigs. I keep them together with a carabiner.

    What length are going with.

    5 footers... bought 6 dozen... and i still need more lol

    Yep. Seems like too much is never enough.

    5 dozen duck decoys and 3 dozen goose decoys.

    Hard to get to the south side of ULM (even in a canoe) and when they are all set up, it's still about half as many as you need.

    I feel ULM would be a great layout boat lake like you would do a sea duck hunt:D

    Saw about a dozen wigeon or widgeon and about a half dozen pintail around some flooded fields here this weekend. A few drakes were already in full color. Saw a few mallards and also some blue wing teal flying around this morning checking fields. Won't get out duck hunting till after deer season though.
