I came in today between groups for lunch break

Really got surprise this morn. Ducks must have wore themselfs out yesterday.

Ducks flew today BUT only maybe 100th of yesterday.
60 people or so have gotten 75+ ducks this morning.

Should do good late this evening.

I know some guys that had reservations on Union refuge and they got limit 4 mallards each.

You know it?s nice to post or tell about the good days duck hunting BUT we don't win them all and I think ducks are going win next 10 - 12 days with this full moon. I will try post this bad days coming up.

This afternoon it cleared up and end up getting maybe another 30 ducks.
Very few ducks flew until almost dark I am sure they will be feeding all night leave at day light. :fp Its going get tough.

If we get rain we will hammer ducks if not I think we will drop down 20 ducks per day.

It will be interesting see if get new ducks and geese with all cold and snow they have 150 miles North of us.

We did ok at the pit. Took 4 this morning an botched 2 groups. I had to get home to get the boat ready for tomorrow and they killed 5 this evening. Saw a bunch of high birds today going into the lake. Had a few bunches of blackfeet fly the field and a big bunch did the highway fly about 0930 this morning. Didn't see many snows or specks which kinda surprised me. Drove through Crab on the way back and only saw about 50 mallrds and NO geese at the observation area. Saw a few more mallards on the main lake too.

    Sat Dec 2nd

I had expected place here would get 30 - 35 ducks today well as always it pays get lucky.
End up getting 72 or 73 ducks.

Morning hunt was very slow for most the guys / blinds I got lucky and ended the with Ace even though it started slow only had 6 ducks at 10am but from 10 to 1pm we got 13 more had 5 guys - I made 6 got couple nice Pintails.

Had quick lunch and went back same blind with 5 other guys who had only gotten 4 this morning.
We were able get 16 mallards so it was really great day.

We got few more new ducks yesterday than I thought. NO new ducks today that I know of.
Lot specks in area - probably 3 to 4,000

I am hoping big time that ducks will do same next few days, enough flying during middle of day to have a good hunt.
