I've seen a few guys reference using "toller" decoys to lure birds into a field, over time building numbers. I'm curious how many have tried it and how it works. We've got some land available to hunt that has birds around it/over it occasionally but seldom sees birds feeding. I've got some old decoys that could be put to the task and am curious if it really works. ??

Try it, that's the only way to know if it'll work for your field. We try not to leave ours out overnight, depending on weather. Frost.

It'll work if there's food the geese want in your field.

Yep it works and sometimes very well.
I just use 2 on a field. I place the decoys where I dont expect the geese to land. And once the geese start using the field Ill pull the decoys
