Does anyone know the recommended HP for towing a UFO layout? I've been looking into getting a layout, and they seem to be pretty reasonably priced, as well as well made.
The boat we would be towing it with is a 14ft deep v with a 9.9 on it, so it's nothing huge.

You could effectively tow the boat with that kind of power. it doesn't have to be towed fast. slower speeds will maintain better control anyway.

I tow mine at 20 knots on nice days.

I had a 2 man mighty layout boat and 6 mph was the top speed I could tow it before it tried to nosedive. You have plenty of boat to tow it
