Trailer Tire Uneven Wear

    Thanks for the continued suggestions, work is getting in the way of checking on it further right now, but I should have time tomorrow.

    The U Bolts do not show any sign of movement and the trailer tracks well. It is a Backtrack trailer, came with Xpress boat. Happy with everything else so far.

    If no play in tire,axle assembly ......while spinning tire/wheel ...use a ball point pen or black marker to make a line around both tires .........after that ....put trailer on level ground and use a tape measure in front and another in rear of tires ,,,will give you toe in or toe out measurement ..... ,,,,,more that 1/8 or 1/4 will wear also ,,,,,tires will get feather edge as well ..........

    So giving it a good look, getting a second set of eyes on it, and using a right angle square, looks like the spindle may not be seated properly into the axle. Wheel is definitely not at 90degrees to the axle.

    Is the spindle assembly bolted or welded on?
