Would be a heck of an asset for a jump shooter I would think.

I trained my last lab to ‘follow’ about 20 yards back. Once he quickly connected the dots, he seemed to realize we were ‘sneaking’, and I had the lead, and he would pause, lie down, even crawl....on his own. I could just tell him ‘follow’. More mimicking of me, almost. He also knew some other atypical hunting tasks and could be worked remotely from across a dove field, sitting with others, or 50yards back in flooded timber, nearest dry hummock, etc. He was an exceptionally perceptive dog for a handler, and made me look way better than I ever was, always. Miss that dog.

We taught each of our last 3 labs to crawl using the command "sneak". They wouldn't go far, just the last few yards.
