Long story short, we leave in a few weeks for Canada. 25+ hour trip. Lab will ride in the back seat of a pickup. Pup has made this trip several times prior. Just curious, if you were making this trip, what would you do to make the pup as well as your travels more enjoyable.

My pup has been to Niagra Falls and to South Carolina. He travels very well and we forget he is in the back seat of the truck. I always take his wire crate, we only crate in the hotel room if we go to eat, as he is free to go in should he choose.
Take a few toys and bumpers. Always make time to throw some bumpers in the evening for him. Plenty of home water if possible, pre-measure his food and load into baggies, 2 per day. Up to date on shots and shot records to cross the border.
