Yea, he said that. I agree, pretty much the same price point.

Nobody buys at Tristar website, but those are retail prices. This is getting foolish. I'm out.

Looks like pretty much the same price point to me....only $140 difference?
Not like one is $499 and the other is $2499.
    I don't see much difference in quality between a new $500 O/U and a new $600 O/U.
    I DO see a difference between a new $600 O/U and a new $2600 O/U. I think you do, too.

Not to tinkle in anyone's coffee, but finding parts for one of those things is next to impossible. I have fixed several of them and have waited 3 to 6 months for a firing pin and extractor.

Have you tried looking for a Franchi recoil pad lately?

Nope but does it connect funny ?. Pretty easy to fit a aftermarket pad.

I've tried with all after market suppliers and Franchi. Replacement pad not available any where. My pad on 5 year old affinity is disintegrating at top and bottom. Still useable but not for long. The stock doesn't have a flat mounting area and the pad is a press fit inside the stock. If Kevin has a way to replace it I would like to hear it. Parts can be issues with all manufacturers. Waited 6 months for a Benelli M2 bolt handle in warranty a couple years ago.

Seahawk, send your Franchi's buttstock to me and I'll put a new LimbSaver or Kick-Eez recoil pad on it (your choice). Figure about $75.
