    So what say you?

Had the same talks originated with Obama, the left would be cheering him, and the right condemning him…

Part of that is context, part of that is trust (and who we trust), and probably, if we are honest, the largest part of that is partisan team politics and blind support of your side/team…

It seems that Trump gave up something tangible (the right to prepare with South Korea for the collapse of or attack from North Korea) for something thus far intangible from North Korea. I (admittedly) most likely would have been immediately and openly critical of Obama or Clinton for doing the same.

On the flip side, Trump has achieved what has been hoped for and attempted for some considerable time. We are now having talks with, and the possibility of a mutually beneficial relationship, as well as the possibility of the end of conflict with North Korea… Nothing to scoff at.

Talks are always a good thing.... a very good first step.
What was "given up" by each side? .... well, we will see how that shakes out in the next year or so. I would like to see some action, on either side, as to what was agreed upon.

I will take recovering remains of our fallen as a great start

George Steppapottomas was praising him, but he wasn't smiling about it.

Kinda like when your team won the game but you'd bet on the other one.

So you think if Kim Won Ton reneges on his part of the deal, Trump will just take it and still cancel the military drills and all he agreed to? I seriously doubt that.

I believe that this is the farthest that the USA has ever gotten w/ NK. I still have a feeling that it was nothing more than a Photo-Op for the Fat Boy... Time will tell and I am cautiously optimistic...

I bet if the treaty or agreement is signed before then, they'll be cancelled.
