only problem is that he was talking to South Korea ...

If true, this does not exactly inspire confidence in his knowledge and abilities ...

Who is president of all those states and US territories?

Trump said he'd recently "met with the president of the Virgin Islands" to discuss the recent hurricanes that have devastated Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the island.
But Trump could not have spoken to the "president of the Virgin Islands" because, of course, he is the president of the U.S. Virgin Islands, whose residents are U.S. citizens.

It depends upon which Virgin Islands was referenced. The British Virgin Islands does indeed have a President. The US Virgin Islands has a Governor.
US Virgin Islanders are US citizens by Congressional statue. U.S. Virgin Islanders residing in the territory are ineligible to vote for the President of the United States. They are, however, eligible to vote if they become residents of mainland U.S. states.

On the other hand, there are court cases than say that residents of territories have no right to citizenship.

If Trump succeeds where Obama failed on North Korea, maybe he will get Nobel Peace Prize – and deserve it
Top diplomats sent to Pyongyang by Seoul to attempt to carry forward a sudden thaw that began with North Korea’s unexpected participation in the Winter Olympics, have reported a stunning breakthrough. Among the highlights: the leaders of the North and South will hold their first summit in more than a decade, the North will agree to talks with the United States on ending their face-off. And throughout the process it will desist from further testing.

That the US intelligence community isn’t exactly popping the champagne is to be expected. Scepticism is the order of the day. “Hope springs eternal but we need to learn a lot more relative to these talks,” Dan Coats, Director of National Intelligence, told members of Congress. “And we will.”

Can you even imagine the uproar from the liberals if Pres. Trump won a Noble Peace Prize.

The prize no longer has any meaning for me..... It was given for nothing in 2009.

I think South Korea did the world a solid by sitting and chatting with the North..... Calmer heads will prevail. It is a foot in the door...

I sometimes have meetings with myself. Usually in the poop closet.

However, this begs the question of "who's foot?" and "which door?"
