The next two days are torture! The kids are coming in for Saturday's opener. Should be a great time and hopefully the ducks will cooperate! We'll get to the blind early as I like to have a cup of coffee while the Owls do there thing. Nothing like sunrise in the river bottoms! Hope everyone has a good opener in the middle zone!

I would be going nuts to if the quail were not so plentiful.

3-6" of snow projected for Devils Lake, ND. More big birds on their way? I would think so. The temps are turning brutal cold up there for this time of year as well. Fri 30/21, Sat 34/18, Sun 25/5, Mon 20/5. Mild temps here might make it a challenge to keep birds up and moving but have to like what is happening up North!!!! Should push a pile of birds to the mid tier states like Missouri!!!!!l

    Giddyup.
