    BirdArtist,

Yes they do along with regional, national and I think world show winners. Larry Blomquist started this about 2 years ago. The very first issue they posted the Breakthrough Best of Show winners was issue 74 of 2004. You can see my ugly mug on pg 5. Sure glad my wife likes me  At least I think see does.

    Dude,

Those commons look awesome! I just have a question? What is it depecting or representing? I'm trying to get an understanding of the mount.

One looks alive and the other is it dead?

    Thanks SD

    Me too!!

I do not know the details of the mount. Tim emailed me the pic and asked me to post it. I have the same questions as yourself.

Hopefully Tim or another will be in here shortly to shed some light on this beautiful mount.

It looks like there is a freshly harvested Eider draped over a handcarved decoy. Pretty awesome BA

i came up with the idea after seeing many dead ones laying on our decoy piles in the boat after a morning of shooting.not really able to use multiple decoys so i just used one duck and one decoy.the decoy is a urethane lock stock and barrel decoy.sorry for the confusion.thank goodness the judge was a hunter and picked it out right off the bat.and when you get a bos and boc in masters from harvey zeigler you got to be happy. :tu
