There is a job opening in my field in Unalaska, don't know anything about it other than its the same island/location as Dutch Harbor? Basically would it be worth moving there for someone in their early 20's? Cost of living etc...

I know ZERO about your profession or situation at this time...but your 20 and you have an opportunity to go to one of the coolest and remote places left.

DO IT! and either end up staying there forever or moving back and say you did it.

Is the company providing housing? If not you need to rethink the offer. The town has been under a housing crunch for a few years now and its getting worse.

This focuses just on city owned housing, but it points to the larger issue.

As for being "worth" moving there? Yes, if you are not bothered by wind driven rain, cold, lack of trees, fish all day every day, and the issues of locals vs immigrants. You will be one of the immigrants.
