Anyone know what this is? There are no ID marks anywhere on it. Thanks.
Resembles Don Faigley's calls out of Ohio. He still uses the brass reed and that is a newer call not older.
That doesn't look like any checkering I've seen of Don's.
Familiar, but not sure. Looks more like a TN or IL call.
Identified ............. Catfish Powell from West Monroe, LA ......... it is dated 1950s. His son and another Louisiana call collector made the ID. He's in the Louisiana Duck Calls - 100 Years of History book.
