Anyone have problems with utrinary tract infections with your female pups? My 4 month old has had two round of antibiotics and stuff has some mucus in the urine. Anyone else experience mucus in urine? If so what did your vet say or did you do?

Go with a culture and sensitivity and get the right antibiotic if you suspect another UTI.

She drinks a normal to above normal amount and she hasn't been spayed yet. Trying to decide to spay before or after first heat?

If she's having UTI's now; wait until she's fully grown to spay her. That way, her "girl parts" are full sized and not "infantile", which is what happens in many cases of early spaying in females prone to UTI's. 18 months-2 years old is what I would do if I were ever to consider spaying a dog.

You need to supplement your dog's diet with a quality Probiotic.
