I heard that the low turnout was being partially blamed on it being unseasonably cold. Damn global warming.

Liberal dogma’s natural progression... After failure the next step is so predictable. Que up the blaming and whining.

My English skills seem to be evading me, as I do not even understand what this statement means?

The more I see on YouTube, and read, and hear for myself as to the "protests" of the "progressive left" the older I feel, and the less I understand the motivations....

    Great point to consider. :tu

Perhaps the primary motivators have become feelings rather than rational thought.

And along with that doubling down on the failed programs.
Liberals: 'Since that didn't work what we obviously need is more of it."

Case in point...the "Assault Weapons" ban. "Didn't work...well that obviously means we need to do it again."

The White House is stepping up its efforts to renew the assault weapons ban, while trying to boost separate gun control measures that the Senate plans to vote on next week.

On Monday, White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett will host a mass conference call for the general public “about the need to renew the assault weapons ban and the different gun safety measures the Senate is set to vote on in the coming week.”
