    Be that as it may folks who bag birds with tracking devices are asked to kindly turn them in.

    True, but they send you a dummy transmitter if you want it for mounting the bird. And a sweet laminated poster of where the bird has been both day and night locations with tracks. It's pretty interesting stuff.:yes:tu

    I harvested a radio transmitted mama Mallard about 20 yrs or so ago and I was never asked to return the transmitter. Maybe it's different today.

    Anyway, a treat indeed.
