It's sad to see this Chesapeake Forum basically fade away. Nobody talks anymore about anything . . . even just BS'ing. What happened?

Facebook, for better or worse, is replacing a lot of these forums.

I did scout Deal Island and McKee Beshers this week and I think we will be having an awesome duck season which should help spark more conversation here.

OK.... I will start. After a relatively good opener.... Been VERY SLOW on teal since last Monday. We have managed a few but we need you folks on the E shore and the flats to knock them over to us. Please start tmw morning... we will be out yet again.

I went out with my Dad for geese on public land two times, but we got skunked. Looking forward to October, so we can kill some woodies and a fat mallard or two.

We took three tolls of 200+ bluewings this weekend. We were 1600 miles NW of here. Things are running late.

Things took a turn for the better this AM. We saw more teal (took 7) along with seeing many more woodies. All teal action within first half hour, dead for next half hour.

Anyone remember this thread? Funniest ever.....

We have done well on the teal. Killed 16 opening day( 13 of which were bluewings) and I killed 5 the second day I hunted. My friends killed a bunch last Saturday. I killed a sika spike yesterday morning at blackwater.. we also spanked the doves on public on the first day!!
