I seen that as well. That one involved semi’s. The one I posted didn’t, fortunately.
I had to confirm accuracy. I think you about nailed it.
Last winter was the winter me and my wife were wearing out the google search function, specifically “Condos in Tucson”
Not to sound like our brand of ice storm is worse than yours but...
In Feb of 1994, we had an ice storm that knocked out power in a large area. I had no electricity for 17 days. The first couple of days was like going camping but after that it was a pain in the azz. I lost over 60 trees on my small acreage. Couldn't get out of my driveway because of the trees that were down across it (didn't own a chainsaw at the time).
The trouble with southern ice storms is they only occur about every ten years and all the trees have grown back and are ready to break again. Y'all yankees are used to living in a perpetual frozen wasteland.
It's snowing in Savannah today. That's just weird.
I’m betting you can’t find a loaf of bread or jug of milk in any store within 50 miles of the coast in GA/SC
When my brother moved from Wisco to Atlanta he used to laugh. Said it was like Armageddon when it iced up down that way. Mind you we are much better prepared for this stuff and treat roads continually for it. We don't buy 4X4 trucks because of mud up this way.
