Small mouth- Spawning would be bubblegum Senko or 3 1/2" inch green and copper flake plastic craw rigged texas. Post spawn hands down Lucky Craft Pointers and Sammy's. Those are worth all $15 each.

Large mouth- Spawning fish love lizards and tubes. Post spawn and summer I throw carolina lizards and spinnerbaits

Well I cant say that I have just one but I have a combination. I throw a short arm spinner and when the bass miss it I throw a lizzard right in the same spot and let it fall. Hardly miss this way.

Hey Rutgers w/dynamite, reminds me of the time this old fellow was down at the resevoir throwing dynamite out by the spillway dragging in some big catfish. The game warden drove up ran over shouting and blasting the old fellow about fishin rules and sportsmanship, etc. The old fellow lit a stick of dynamite and handed it too the warden and said, "Do you want to talk or do you want to fish?":sp :l

I prefer plastics. I use 4 to 6 inch worms a lot, but probably I use a 4 inch plastic grubs (Yamamoto) more than anything. Here in California, I fish a lot of deep clear lakes, and the grub works very well.
