I am going to start another poll. This one is a little harder than the "best fighter" thread. But lets give it a try. The question: What is your favorite tasting freshwater fish? For me, it is a very tough question, because some fish taste better depending on how they are cooked. Anyway, let me give you an example of how I would like this thread to go, but then again, you guys/girls can do what you want. Here goes: Trout: Filleted, floured and sauted in butter with onion. Yummy! Catfish: Deep-fryed in oil. Served with tarter sauce!!! Bluegill: Also deep-fryed, with cocktail sauce and lemmons. Striper: Marinated, then grilled. Oh boy! Perch: Almost anyway.....(Too bad I can't find them in TN!) Walleye/sauger: Baked with bread crumbs.. Salmon: Grilled, baked, or even better yet, over an open fire.... Gar: Battered and fried, taste like shrimp. Oh yeah! I told you this was tough. My vote goes to bluegill. What is yours?
