Sako 85 Hunter Stainless 7mm Rem Mag topped with a Leopold VXII 3-9x40. I'm not much on recoil, so the 7mm mag is about as high as you'll see this cowboy go in the recoil dept. I figure with that combo I can kill anything in North America deader than a brick out to 300m.

I've got several rifles on soft order with my dealer. I might go with an X-Bolt in .300 WSM. Or maybe a new pre-64 Model 70 SS Extreme in .300 WSM. Maybe even a T/C Icon in .270 Win. The Icon is getting some very good reviews from some very critical shooters.

Any of them might get a VXIII B&C 4.5x14 or something like that.

Dunno for sure. Might wait to see if I get drawn anywhere good first :)

I thought i was still set--2-22-250's, 243,06, 300 WM, 338,( just sold me 416 Rem)and 6 pistols- 2 muzzleguns- 8 shotguns went to gunnie yesterday and me thinks I must rethink --I'll stay with old fashioned cal i reload for now but might just get something new-- a couple of O/U's would be nice--and maybe a new 300

My next rifle (actually being built right now) will be an APS (the gun maker), caliber is the 338AX and it will be topped off with a Leupold Mark 4 4.5x14x40.

I never thought I would say this but I am about outfitted out to what I want for Big game calibers. I might shift up or change some things around. The new Browning X-Bolts look very nice but not sure what caliber I would like it in. I would also like a BAR in the .325WSM but not sure if they will make one or not.

    I own:
Remington XCR - 7mm rem mag, 338 ultra mag
    Winchester model 94 - 30-30, .22

I am looking into adding a nice 25.06 and .204 ruger and contemplating a Howa and/or a Steyr Mannlicher in 25.06.

My main rifle is a black synthetic Browning BAR in .300 WSM but as a back up and gun for sitting, I just put together a black synthetic Weatherby Vanguard in trusty old .300 Win. Mag. topped with a Burris Fullfield II scope in 3-9x40. For a moderately priced outfit, it goes together real nice and is a well balanced hunting rig.

Most likely Kimber Montana, may take a look at the Icon by T/C, 300/325 WSM and guaranteed some sort of Leupold mounted on it. If I can find one and I have tried, it'd be a Browning Mountain TI in 325 WSM

It's almost here, having a Win mod70 being done in 404 Jeffery topped with a Leupold VXIII 1.5-5.
