I've used several over the years and generally prefer a fixed blade.

I've used 3 blade Wasp and Thunderheads 125's. I think they have about 1 1/4" cutting.

When using a recurve I've used Bear and Ziwicky 2 blade heads

Not much of a fan of mechanical heads but then I've had limited use of them.

They have a 1 3/16" cut size. I think they're good heads, with "super sharp" replacement blades, but have never used anything else to compare them to.

I like Grim Reaper broadheads. I also shoot some old Bear Razorheads.

Just recently started shooting Rage Hypodermics. They definitely shoot like field tips but have not taken a deer with them yet. As with everything - it is all about shot placement. Although the Hypodermics are more consistent, I have a special place in my heart for 100gr Thunderheads. They have always gotten the job done for me, they are tough, and the great thing about fixed blades - they cant fail to function.
