I like Billy's, fresh off the boat. Can't beat em!
No such thing.
Best he's gonna get where he's at though. You pretty much have to catch them yourself to get fresh as they're generally frozen right on the boat.
Nah, there’s many boats shrimping in and around Mobile Bay that off load daily. I used to work on one.
I have a couple friends that go out when the weather is good on small trawls. They have about 20 customers. $5.00 a lb with heads on for 15-20 count fresh out the water that day. Most of the time they come right by my house on way in and drop them off. Smaller bait shrimp $2.00 lb. I eat those too!
They off load directly to Ohio?
Of course if you go to the docks you can get them fresh, but for most folks that's not possible or feasible even if you live near the gulf. And if they're not frozen on the boat they damn sure better be frozen pdq after off loading unless you want bad shrimp. If you're not taking them home to cook almost immediately they need to be frozen anyway.
Or maybe that's why you can't taste the difference in them....
If they aren’t this size you are wasting your time. And you should catch them yourself.
That tells me a lot.
Bubba Gump Shrimp. It's a household name
I ain’t ashamed. When I was 15-17 I was on a shrimp boat working hard and learning how to be a man while you probably playing grab azz with your lacrosse bros. Keep on keeping on bruh
