What's Granadillo wood?

    What kinda wood is this, I know that it took over Cocobola at RNT. Thx.

    Thank you. Isn't cocobola considered a "rosewood?"

    Yes, cocobolo is in the rosewood family.

    Fwiw, I've always preferred my RNT wood calls in hedge versus cocobola. And I've owned many of each. I picked up a handful of Granadillo calls from them over the last year. Other then not having that beautiful golden color of aged hedge, they may be my favorite sounding wood calls I have ever used from them.

    Not to get off topic, but I remember a "how to" video of Tim Grounds & I believe he likes the hedge wood, too. And thank you Stump! :tu

    "Super Mag Mania" He talks about his favorite being hedge, but it's wrapped up in black electrical tape because it's so old and probably cracked in several places...haha
