What's the name of your boat?

    Mamma Mae Belle, It was the name my grandfather named his ole truck . A 48 Chevy, when it came a big snow in the holler he'd fire up Ole Mama Mae Belle and talk to her as if she could hear him." Come on Mamma Mae Belle." He'd say as he patted the dash as we would creep, slip, and slide out of Buck Hollar with the cab stuffed and half the hollow riding on back. He would tell us kids to sing, cause she liked it, and the radio didn't work.
    In his honor I have named everything I've ever drove, steered, or hopped on Mamma Mae Belle

    .....and I love Steve Earls "Copperhead Road", too. My Son used to sing that one with the last band he played in.

    As a former Coast Guardsman I say "THE HELL YOU SAY" symbol of pride my arse, and as far as the term name "Coastie" I once heard an old cheif say in bootcamp "The name COASTIE is pink pantie waste! GEEEEERRRRR.":mad:

    BTW:eek: The name of my duck boat is The Green Ghost.:tu

    Sneak Boat- not officially named yet, was thinking Market Gunner or possibly
    The Battery
    15' Kayak- was thinking of calling it the Pequod because thats how I feel
    being towed by a thirty pound striper
