    I've caught a painted turtle.

The other day my 6 year old nephew caught a dogfish (bowfin), which are pretty rare around my parts and odd looking.

Unlike Lorne, we have not caught a body although it happens alot here on the Detroit River. Especally in the spring of the year.

We did catch a Danforth Anchor, 50 feet of anchor rode and 3 Rapala while handlining for Walleye on the Detroit River.

    Hi guys,
My name is Charlie I was born and raised in San Diego Cal., but have since moved to southern utah where I work in youth corrections.
I have'nt spent much time on this forum, I am normally on the gun dog forum, but today I saw this question which made me think?
I worked on a long range sport fisher out of Point Loma most my young life and have seen many different type's of marine life that was definetly anything but ordinary, but the one thing I think of the most, was the Sliper Lobster I caught while bait fishing at an island about 500+ miles off the main land.
The interesting thing about this lobster was it had no claws and it's head looked exactly like it's tail!
I planned on keeping it and kept it in the one of the bait tanks until I could put it in my salt water tank at home, but while getting pulled over and borded by the Mexican Navy, I tossed it in the brine freezer and eventually ate it!
I really regret not getting a picture.

Anyways I'm sure others may have seen one or many, but for me this has allways stuck out in my mind!

P.S. nice forum I like it!

I have caught a bullfrog on a white scum frog.

Also caught a watermocasin on a scum frog.

I have also caught catfish with spinner baits and plastic worms.

Neatist looking fish I reckon would be a spoonbill I caught several years ago.
