killed a coyote at 479 yards...custom .243, 55 gr Noslers...
Nothing special here I shot a doe last year`at 300yards during rifle.
Crow @400 or so yard with a rem VS in 223 and a Nikon Monarch 6.5-20. With Federal 55grn Blitz kings it prints 1/2 minute @ 100 yds.
You can get a certain amount of recognition for hitting critters at very long ranges.
I shot my whitetail @ 608 YARDS THIS YEAR, he walked ten yards and dropped dead. The buck next to him didn't even know what happend. I had a second tag and opped out to save it for a mulie, heres a pic.
Can't remember anything being over 300 yards. But I sure do remember shooting one in the face @ 7 steps this past February hunting at night with a full moon and snow cover....
Got several 300+ w/ big guns, but my favorites are with the small stuff. I popped a G-hog couple weeks ago @ 177 yards with a CZ .22LR w/ Winchester Power Points. Got a good mark shot in and nailed him with the second. Smoked another yesterday afternoon @ 239 yards with the same gun, got lucky and hit him with the first...
