I left my house in ocean pines today and drove up 113 to rt 1 to 896 through rising sun over the dam to white ford and saw zero snow geese! When I lived in fenwick 9 years ago( was there for 5 years) they always showed within a week( before or after) Halloween . I left at 7 am shoulda been perfect time to see em.but zero zilch nada

I saw one small flock opening week of goose in Kent County. Haven't seen or heard one since. I was down that way today and only saw Canadas.

No clue. There's been a small flock at BBH but not what should be there by now. I've been in NJ and not seeing them in the marshes, flying high or driving around looking for them. Everyone I've talked to is saying the same thing. I've seen some guides in NY that are hunting them now. Should be plenty of food when they get here. Wheat is growing fast.

I have see about three flocks of snows this year. That is between NJ, Pa, Md and De. I think this flyway is under some sort of major issue. I know people have been trying to hang thier hat on the weather but snows have always showed up in Delaware in Oct.....even when it was warm. This year I have shot more blacks and wood ducks than Mallards.... Its insane to think that something that drastic has changed. Many years ago when there was only a three bird duck limit you saw more birds than now. I did see an artical in Du or Wildfowl about that there has been a drastic decrease in the flyways Mallard numbers and they dont know why.
