Where they were collared

    i shot my first collar rosses this past season, with a blue and white letter band... it was banded in Nunavut Canada. over 2k miles away from where i shot it... i think it was about 5 years old... i really like the lat. and long. information on the certificates! you can see exactly where the bird was banded!

    I shot a blue collared speck from AK so, somebody messed up...:confused:

    No mess ups. Blue speck banded in AK, Blue rossies banded at QMG, Some blue rossies banded on Baffin a while back too.

    Was it a tule speck?
    Darker blue than a Ross collar?

    Yep...It's a darker blue on the whitefront collars than the
    teal blue on the Ross' collars...Be safe...NC

    I shot a lesser snow in southeast Arizona with a brown collar and white letters that was banded in skagit county Washington in October. After talking to the biologist come to find out the bird is originally from wrangel island russia.

    i killed a snow in maryland with a black tarsus band. are they the same as collars?
