These were reported near Sacramento January 2009
I shot a black collar 7 - 8 years ago here in eastern WY. It was collared on Banks Island.
Shot my third banded bird ever a few weeks ago. Snow goose banded 8-10-2003 13 km southeast of johnson point nwt

What area were you hunting in?
Southern Illinois. Bout an hour east of St.Louis
So this was a neck collar ? What color and numbers?
No just a foot thought I would share. Took us 7 years to get one. Lol we were pumped.
I've actually seen or heard of about 4 or 5 collars getting shot this year. Nice to know a few exist. I'm holding out hope for one still.
