I made some black and whites this summer to give them a try. My question is where in the spread do they go? Mix em in, group em up in the kill hole, or run em on the fringe on the outside to get the birds coming my way? The rest of my spread is small (3 doz FB).

Always ran our within the other full bodies and shells. We used the 3D type often and the birds did seem to key on them.

Regular coloring along the outer perimeter. B/W's on the inside. Try it sometime without the fb's...see how it goes. Then decide if you want to paint the fb's as B/W's and use the full B/W spread all the time.

Verifying mix the b&w’s in and not on the up wind side edges?

I shared this once on another thread here. This will hopefully enlighten the B/W interest. Pic is from a client who is a guide in Wyobraska area. B/W silo's mixed with some FB's (painted B/W). Aka The Black Hole. It was "very" productive for them...btw. Big Al Silhouettes 062.jpg
