Looking to expand my Whitetail deer hunting season next year and would like to purchase a new bow. I've looked at several different brands and have narrowed my choice down to a few choices. The Mathews Solocam Legacy, HoytUsa, and Darton all look like good bows. Does anyone have an opinion about any of these brands?

of the ones you mentioned, i have had best luck with the Mathews, I have had the Rival Pro for 3d shoots (great bow)and a Legacy for huntign and never regretted it once. I also would take a godo look at BowTech as they are top notch and would be my second choice.

Go with the Hoyt. The tec risers are awesome. I guess there is a reason a lot of olympic shooters use them.

I shoot a Mathews MQ32 and absolutly love it. Of the bows you mentioned there isn't a bad company. Hoyts are excellent as are Dartons (I don't know a lot about Dartons but I'm basing that off of the Maverick line).

Go to a dealer and starting shooting. The difference between Hoyts and Mathews are pretty minimal so the decision more or less will come down to feel. good luck!

I shoot a Mathews Legacy now and love it. It replaced my Hoyt Magnatec which I really liked but I wanted a bit shorter draw length and sold my wife on the fact I needed the new Mathews instead.

I still have the Hoyt and if you want to go with a barely used bow package for a reasonable price, let me know.
