Which Broadhead Do You Use and Why?

    I can't believe non of you have tried Crimson Talons. They are nasty and i've seen several deer hit 3 or 4 inches too far back that went less than 100 yards.

    I used to shoot thunderhead 100's and killed a lot of deer with em but several i found just out of luck that should have bled a lot.

    The spiral slices in the wound can't close up as easily and there is more length of cut with the same diameter.

    Can't use them in Colorado during archery season for big game.

    Rage 3 blades but I am thinming about trying the G5 Strikers or the G5 Tekens.

    I've used thunderheads, muzzy, slick trick, and G5's. All were good, but I really like the slick tricks and G5's. I'll be trying rage 2's this fall!

    magnus stingers. They fly the same as my field points and make a big enough hole.

    Still scared to use mechanicals so I will keep on using what works for me...G5 Montecs 100 grain.

    NAP Nitron 125 grain. I hear too many stories to try mechanical, and i've never had a problem with my fixed blades.

    I have used the 100 gr 4 blade muzzies for years and have no compaints.Used the rage 2 bladers on a turkey this spring and it did a great job.

    I still use the Thunderheads 100. I've killed a dozen bucks ,5 caribou and a moose with them. I realize there may now be better broadheads on the market, but the Thunderheads continue to work for me. Although that rage broadhead does sound interesting.
