Been shooting Thunderhead 100s for over 10 years now!!
Muzzy 3 blase 100 gr. Had a complete pass through on a cow elk with these. Not a great hit, a little to far forward as she turned toward me. Right through the shoulderblade and through the heart, liver, and one lung. She went 20 yards and tipped. After that kind of performance, how can I change broadheads?
I use a muzzy 100gr. 3 blade.
3 blade muzzy 75 grain bad to the bone
100 gr muzzies and satelites both have 3 blades.
I am thinking I will stick with the satelites...unless i find something new. I wish we could use mechanical broadheads as I think some of them are just wicked looking...but illegal in WA!
rocky mountain titanium's 100gr
Well, I've got 3 great heads in my box, just need to decide which to use this fall
My absolute fav is the anderson magnums shot as a 2blade. And I picked a pack up a couple months ago - this will be my "go to" head come the end of oct
I have some rocky mt snypers, tho I havn't killed anything with them yet (been dragin'em around the bush for 2yrs), the nephew killed a small buck with one. Awsum performance - especially from a bow generating 40ish lbs of KE.
When I was in Meijers around xmas time, they had two packs of 100gr magnus 4bl stingers on clearance for 10bucks ea. - these babies fly like darts (you want to take'm for a test drive SuperNova before shelling out the cabbage??)
Use 100 gr Muzzys but was going to try those new Talon broadheads. Anybody tried those yet?
