    @gold10 , how exactly do you modify your rgII's to help with hard ground? I've read where guys rivet the stakes on to flatten them out. What other mods help make them more user friendly?

    Riveting the stakes on Realgeese is an absolute must, and it takes minimal time. It only takes 2-3 cans of beer to do 5-6 dozen.

    Another thing you shouldn't have to do to make the decoy better at that price.

    I agree, price point is a big part of the reason why I moved away from RG. That and the weight issue, they do last forever though.

    Using just normal metal/aluminum rivets and dabbing them with black/brown paint or using a painted rivet? Light beer or dark?

    Aluminum rivets, we use a sharpie, and no self respecting adult would drink light beer. We're not in middle school anymore man.
