Hey guys, do you recommend glyphosate, 2,4-D, or Crossbow for spraying cocklebur, and why? Thanks in adavance guys.

All will do the job. The question is are you trying to protect desirable grasses or not. 2,4-d and roundup are the cheapest.

Thanks Clayton, that makes sense. I am spot spraying only. The cocklebur came in as a result of thinning out some buttonbush a few weeks ago, so no grasses yet. The crossbow was a thought I had because some of the buttonbush is starting to resprout too, so I was thinking about hitting them both with the same thing. Thanks again for the info.

Both Crossbow and roundup (at max rate) will kill the buttonbush.

Hey Clayton, you were right on with the recommendation that glyphosate at max rate would knock both the cocklebur and the button bush. Thank you sir!
