In 2003 the Statewide # of apps into the ressie system was 568,223
Last year there were 1,036,900 total apps

Statewide odds of drawing a ressie in 2003 was 1 in 9.9
Last year it was 1 in 21.3

Who benefited from going to an online system? I think we all know that answer.

    Mooooooooo.............

Yep, revenue jumped from $761,418 in 2003 to $1,389,446.00 last year. I would say them peeps in Sacto have a good business model....or do they?

No worries Kev....if I my ressie luck (plan A) sucks this year, then I'll resort to plan B which is to downwind you and tell you I was there first.

Guys that don't hunt the refuges on a regular basis. (Guys with leases, clubs) If it wasn't as easy to put in for them as it is now. They probably wouldn't. At least not every day. Speaking from personal experience.

It's called Progress, Kevin. LMAO Just like the FB Public Hunters lotto results site. Every body wins. And everybody sits in the parking lot.

We all know who are the big winners. But there's a draw to be had and I don't want to jinx my 1/10th of 1% odds. Love DFW and the opportunity they give me to hunt ducks

Looks like waterfowl apps are a better money maker than license sales themselves. Now upland draws getting into the online system so more money being thrown into the pot.

Whoa! Did you say "upland draws"? Is that for real? Are they going to cut off my November pheasant hunting walk-ons at the refuges?

I'm referring to the special dove hunts and turkey hunts. I don't think refuge walk on's are going to change.
