Guys as the last weekend of our waterfowl season came and went my thoughts switched to strutting gobblers:yes . I guess it probably had something to do with the turkey on our place gobbling their heads off both mornings I was duck hunting:yes . I hear them pretty frequently while waterfowl hunting on our lease but it was almost like they were trying to welcome me into another season chasing them around.

just thought I would share this with some guys that would appreciate it. Is anyone else thinking about it like this?

I'm pumped!! I just found out last week that I drew a good tag in Utah. Now if I can get lucky and draw a tag in my backyard I will be set!!
I just got my Midwestern Turkey Supply catalog in the mail today and I got my Cabelas turkey catalog last week so I need to make a list and stock up on some more things that I don't really need.:l

I had 15 or 20 in my back yard yesterday morning while I was eating breakfast. You would have thought I was 6 and the ice cream truck was driving down my street. All hens though, we have way to many hens in the area.

Can't wait to hit those unpressured panhandle birds. Turkey huntin' is as addictive as goose huntin'.:tu
