Can you please translate into yank?
Christians don't hate gay people. I'm Christian. I don't hate gay people. I believe that homosexual acts are wrong. I believe they are wrong because the Bible says they are wrong.
Any person is my brother. The Bible tells me to love my brother. A persons sexual orientation makes them no less human therefore no less my brother.
I'm sure you can think of a person whom you like/love even though have a habit/practice that you hate. You don't hate the person because of their habit or practice do you? In fact, you may even tell them that their habit or practice is wrong.
....One last point/question.
Who is at greater fault? The man who knows the other is wrong yet says nothing or the man who's does the wrong not knowing it's wrong.
As of the 2011 census, England was 59.4% and 5% Muslim...so not sure where you get your facts from.
I don't think their wrong....I think Christians and the bible are wrong. Nor do I want to keep and pass laws that back my religious beliefs.
You missed my point. You also didn't answer the question, which seems to be a commonality shared by many Atheists who visit here.
What they tick on census forms and what people are they are two very different things. I am going on bums on seats people getting up and going to worship not just when the aunt dies or when the suns out and Melanies baby is having a blessing. England is a Muslim nation based on house of worship attendances. I am not sure but i dont think America has quite got there yet, but its working on it.
Do you have facts to back up your statement? So, of that 59.4% less than 5% go to church on a regular basis?
What time do you Kiwi's start drinking over there?
What was the question?
