Hunting is picking up just as the forecast go's south. Next 10 days will be sunny, warm, light breezes according to NOAA. Boating weather if you want to be out on the water. Main ramp is useable. Big decoy spreads are what works best with this forecast. Stay all day, Birds will move as the eagles get hungry or other hunters push them around. Goose ends in a few days for a week. Teal should be showing up very soon. Fishing is still open if you bring a pole. Widgeon and Ring necks are in now. A few Buffle heads, Mallards etc. Golf courses are green so Canada numbers are low but I did get two Sunday with 3 Widgeon, 1 ring neck. 3 hour mid day hunt.

Thanks for the update. I've only ever fished wickiup. Got a new sled this summer and have been thinking about hitting the high mountain lakes.
We hunted the Siuslaw last weekend and and did ok with a few mallards. Geese were there but we weren't in the right place. The weather was an absolute nightmare.
This weekend's forecast looks good. So good luck to you all.
