Wild onions

    Anyone ever ate em? Boys picked a bunch of them and they are washing them off and cleaning them..might throw some in a meatloaf or on top of a pizza maybe in an omelet..

    Onion and cheese sandwich is my vote but putting them in an omelet sounds good, too. Throw in some morel mushrooms and :tu:yes:bow

    When I lived a simpler life I used wild onions in cooking all the time. Good flavor. In the spring eat them raw green onions.

    Not the same as cultivated spring onions. Wild onions are as strong as a sick monkey's breath.

    Be careful you dont eat a Star of Bethlehem. Looks the same but is poison and grows right next to onions
