Wisconsin seasons and limits already out. They got a 3 goose limit. Here’s hoping our DNR does the same.

Instead of hoping for 3 better to hope they don't reduce it to 1, I mean it is ILLANNOY and everything is azz backwards

This took years, and years, and a new head waterfowl biologist to accomplish here. The predecessor was using old data that swung the MVP harvest number to a much higher percentage. He was unwilling to listen to the public on looking into harvest trends. The new sheriff in town did something many of us thought he wouldn't, he looked into the data. Guess what, population trends have changed over the last decade and a half. Really looking forward to getting the extra opportunity up here this year, I hope it goes the same way for you guys down south.

I am ok in our area with the limit on canadas but we saw almost no specks in season and 1000's during the conservation time maybe alittle longer season with a smaller limit. when we were kids we never saw specks or snows.

I'm with you a hundred percent on your speck comment...we didnt see many at all until the last week of season, and then the flood gates seemed to open. Birds were everywhere during the first couple weeks of February. If they dropped our limit from two down to one though, id prolly sell my dekes and take up crocheting or something...that's a lotta work for one bird.

They can give us a 3 Goose Limit, but until some Dates and NZ Line is moved ain’t gonna matter for most. We can’t even get a Split Season for Geese. As far as I’m concerned they took days away by moving the NZ Line. Plus we don’t have anybody for the hunter or listen to the hunter in the IDNR. There YES men. Politics goes along way in this State.
