“ O, what a wonderful, wonderful day, yeah, today And O, what a glorious, glorious day. The day You came, came to save me O, what a wonderful, wonderful day the day You came and You saved me.”

    Romans 3:10:

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

I was at Life Group Friday night and I share about my daily Bible reading and that we were in Romans for this past week and it made me recall what Christians call The Roman’s Road. I shared when I was in Canaan and during our daily bible study at 11:30 am, I wrote one verse to Roman’s Road out each day for my brothers in the study and we all memorized these verses together. I confessed that I tried to recall those memorized verses this past week and I failed. I got an 80 on my own test. Shame on me.

In the old days of the Roman Empire, they had a saying that was “that all roads lead to Rome”. Well the same is still true for Christians sharing GOD’s words of The Roman’s Road to Salvation. We must go boldly to the throne and share this “road” and how it will lead to GOD’s Empire.

Paul wrote this letter to the Romans and the main theme was about the Plan for Salvation, justification or righteousness by faith and they still are true for us today. The wages of sin can destroy our life today, tomorrow and for eternity.

    Romans 3:23: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We all sin, I sin and you sin and we may not want to admit that but it is true, ALL HAVE SIN and WE ALL COME SHORT of the GLORY of GOD and the WAGES of SIN is DEATH.

Paul wrote to the Galatians about many types (just to name a few) of the sins that we commit daily.

Galatians 5:19-21: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If we commit one, we have committed them all the Bible tells us in James 2:10: 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

I recalled a time I was sharing what the LORD has done for me at with a gentleman and he said to me that I needed Jesus more than he does because I had so many more sins in my life than he did. He was correct that I was a sinner and I indeed did need Jesus in my life. Praise the LORD that Jesus is in my life.

He then went on to tell me that he was a good man, helping people and that he never sinned and that he went to church often but he did not believe in the Bible stories about Noah and the flood, Jonah and three days in the whale and the virgin birth and that really crazy story about GOD creating the heaven and the earth in six days. However, because he was a good man, he was going to heaven if there was one. One question I asked him was why do you believe in Heaven when you do not believe the rest of the Word of GOD?

So I asked him if he ever lied, he said a few times, I asked him if he ever lusted after some one other than his wife, he said sometimes. I then asked if he ever took the LORD’s name in vain and he said never. So according to his own words, he was then a sinner too, but he still claimed, “nope I am not a sinner.” So over the next few days I observed him throughout the days and nights and watched him take the LORD’s name in vain many times, I watch him lie about it to me when I asked him and watch him look at pornography and make comments that I could not repeat here.. When I witness to him again, he still denied that he was a sinner and the Bible is not really perfect as I calmed and that because he was still a good man he would go to heaven because there is no hell. (Again, picking and choose what parts of the Bible is true and false) I am still praying that some ones waters the seeds that I planted and he accepts Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and spend eternity in heaven and not in the lake of fire.

Romans 5:8: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

GOD gave His son for us, to die for you and me. Not sure I could do that, could you? We all know John 3:16, for GOD so loved the world, that he gave us His only begotten son, that whoever, yes, that is you and me and if we just believe in Him and we shall not parish but have everlasting life. Christ died for you, accept Him today.

Romans 10:9-10: 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13: 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Paul is clear here as was Jesus when he spoke as he traveled around spreading His gospel that if we just would confess with our mouth and believe that Jesus is our LORD and Saviour and call upon His name and we shall be saved. Have complete faith that Jesus died for all of us and all of our sins, past, present and future, are covered and that if we call upon His name, we shall be saved. Call upon Him and be saved today! Hallelujah!

Ephesian 2:8-9: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Works do not get you to a life eternal in heaven, but by faith in Christ our LORD. If it were about works then there would be no reason for GOD to send His only begotten son to die on the cross at Calvary. We cannot do anything or works to gain the gift of salvation from GOD, but only by accepting CHRIST today as your personal LORD and Saviour, confessing our sins and having a changed heart to live our life for Christ. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the righteous son of GOD and that He paid for all of our sins. I am to unworthy to come to Jesus, will you Jesus please come down to me today. Receive His heavenly blessing today.

If you have already accepted Jesus Christ, then as believers we should know these words by heart. Put the words of GOD in your heart! Study GOD’s words each and everyday. Be ready to share GOD’s word with anybody that hurting or may be asking you why you seem different. Be bold and share with them that through Christ your life has been changed forever with His gift of salvation, covered by His grace, love, mercy, joy and peace in your life that only can come from Jesus Christ our LORD.

“Heaven came down and glory filled my soul, (filled my soul). When at the cross the Savior made me whole; (made me whole). My sins were washed away and my night was turned to day, Heaven came down and glory filled my soul! (filled my soul)”
