fish with worms are actually more common than people realize... i think maybe that's why i love the heck outta fishing, but i wouldn't eat one for anything... (i wish there was a vomiting smiley i could use right here.)

the worms your walleye had were more than likely tapeworms. pretty common. doesn't mean the fish was sick or anything....just make sure you don't eat the walleye raw, in fact, cook it well and you should be just fine.

besides, if you've had them frozen for awhile, the worms should be nice and dead anyways...:tu

    Me?

I'd go ahead and eat the worms too. The harder core you are the more fish you'll catch!

"Good enough for tequila, good enough for fish"

    And some people would say

"Fish and Tequila have alot in common"

Practice makes perfect. If you dont practice your tequila consumption you will continue to be a lightweight.

if they're in the intestines and not the meat, i'd eat the meat without a problem. in my neck of the woods, sometimes there are white grubby lookin worms in the flesh of sunfish and gills in marl muck bottom lakes (carried by snails I believe) and I won't eat those.

also, little black pepper lookin specks (not anything alive) in meat are fine to eat also. they are just how the fish's body reacts to a bug of some kind. cook em and you're good to go.
